The Madina Masjid condemns the Domestic Hate Crime Terrorist Attack at Poway, CA Chabad Synagogue and stands in solidarity with Jewish Community

Madina extends its deepest sympathy to the Jewish Community after the horrific domestic hate crime terrorist attack in Poway, CA that killed 1 person and injured 3 more.

We are extremely saddened by the shooting at the Poway, CA Chabad Synagogue. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families, the entire Jewish community, and all law enforcement in this difficult time. We understand this crime is still under investigation, and being examined by the FBI as a potential hate crime.We urge a swift and effective investigation into this horrific crime.

Madina has a very special relationship with the Jewish Community in many Interfaith Coalitions and Synagogues working together for social justice, civil rights, safe communities, and helping those in need.

We encourage people to help the victims and their families.

Madina encourages all Americans to be extra vigilant in our common struggle against behavior that threatens the very core  of our nation’s principles, and to cooperate with law enforcement Agencies to bring justice to the victims of these attacks.
